Dear People,

I recently spoke about Remote Viewing in my column on the Radio, but thought I'd write a blog post about it as well. I did mention Remote Viewing in my blog post concerning if I use my gifts to find lost items but I didn't describe what I would actually do. I'm going to write a bit more about this technique today as well as give an exercise so you can try it for yourself. If you want to know more about this technique you can also listen to me talk about it in my Dutch Column: Spiritueel Moment: Remote Viewing.

What is Remote Viewing

Remote Viewing is a technique designed to seek information or impressions about something. Usually a distant or unseen subject, but it can be an object, event, person or location. Some people close their eyes, while others like to keep them open and draw their impressions.

It's been made famous a bit, due to to research by the US Military as well as the CIA. Some people think remote viewing is done by traveling out of body, while others believe it's using a psychic eye. In any case, it's definitely flexes your psychic muscles.

Why would you use Remote Viewing

I guess it's easy to see how you could use remote viewing as a type of spying, but most people use it for lost objects or to just train their psychic skills. For example if you lost your keys, trying to use remote viewing can give you a much better idea of where they might be.

Using it to practice your psychic skills usually means you'd check basic things that you can easily check later or doing it with a group. I've worked with others in a remote viewing group - we'd check in on a certain member holding a photo - and discuss our impressions together later. It was interesting to see who tuned into what and how close or far we were from our test subject.

Remote Viewing Exercises

Curious how you'd do with remote viewing? Here are two remote viewing exercises so you can give it a try.

Exercise 1: Remote viewing your Mail

  • Take around 5-10 minutes for this exercise
  • Make sure you are comfortable and can't be disturbed by your phone etc.
  • Imagine your mailbox, your doormat or whatever you use to get your mail
  • Imagine you opening your third eye (or if you want to try by psychic traveling - imagine floating above your object)
  • What can you see? Do you see any mail? Colors of envelops? Notice or hear numbers? Have an idea who they are from?
  • Write down all your impressions, sounds, numbers, colors etc.
  • Gently open your eyes, drink a bit of water and do some grounding
  • Check how you did by going to collect your mail

Exercise 2: Remote viewing a photo

  • Take around 5-10 minutes for this exercise
  • Make sure you are comfortable and can't be disturbed by your phone etc.
  • Grab a book with photo's or a deck of cards
  • Close your eyes and randomly open your book (travel books are best!) or draw card from your deck
  • Place your hand on your object
  • Recite your impressions: colors, sounds, numbers, energy, ideas
  • Open your eyes and see how you did!
  • Afterwards drink a bit of water and do some grounding

Dear People,

I truly believe we should have more fun in life. Often we get bogged down in worries or just stuck in the normal routines of life. We need to create opportunities for fun and remember that life is meant to be enjoyed. Do you feel stuck in meaninglessness or dreary moods? Take some time to affirm some fun affirmations today.

I write my affirmations in different levels so you can see what resonates with you and what you want to work on. You might start with a lower level that resonates and then move your way up.

Create more fun by listening to the 5 minute Fun Manifestation Meditation on my YouTube Channel.

Pick and choose what works for you and affirm away (I recommend three times a day if you can manage it).

I allow myself to have fun
I am willing to have fun
I can find fun
I look for fun
I can have fun
I can have fun every day
I can have fun every moment

I allow opportunities for fun
I acknowledge opportunities for fun
I look for opportunities for fun
I find opportunities for fun
I create opportunities for fun

I am willing to laugh
I allow myself to laugh
I laugh easily
I acknowledge funny moments
I find opportunities to laugh
I create easy laughter
I create easy laughter for myself and others
My laughter is contagious

I acknowledge joy and fun in my daily routine
I look for joy and fun in my daily routine
I find joy and fun in my daily routine
I create a daily routine filled with joy and fun
My daily routine is filled with joy and fun

I am willing to find silver linings
I allow myself to find silver linings
I acknowledge silver linings
I find silver linings
I create silver linings

I enjoy my humor
I enjoy others people's humor
I enjoy other people's laughter
I enjoy other people's fun
I enjoy other people's joy
I enjoy all joy and fun around and within me
