Dear People,
With everything going on, this question recently was on my mind a lot more then usually. I hope everybody's friends and families stay safe. A lot of people railing against fate or grieving loved ones. It's hard when it's our time to go, because no matter what we want, when it's time, it's time. So today, I'm writing a bit about this sad part of life and how it affects me and my gifts.
Have I predicted death in my personal life?
Yes, while I've been lucky so far, I have lost people. I've seen the death of one person close to me before hand. I had a very strong dream that she'd pass away on a certain day. I could see myself at the airport, making a call and getting the news. I knew instantly that it was a prediction because I was extremely calm and I deeply loved this person, so a notification of death would have been devastating.
When I woke up I decided to spend the last few months seeing them more than usually, before leaving on that 1 year student exchange trip. Obviously I wasn't the only one feeling something, as I was asked to promise to come back for a funeral. There was no illness or reason to believe death would occur.
On my arrival day, I did get a phone call that they had suffered several mini strokes and a heart attack, but didn't pass away. However, things looked very dire. In the end they survived, but due to memory issues never really remembered me. So it felt that the person I had known, had died that day.
When I was in a relationship many years ago, I also had a strong feeling that the grandmother of my partner would die. At the time he was estranged from her. She suddenly ended up in the hospital with a relatively small thing, but I just knew she wouldn't be leaving. I asked him if he wanted to visit her and he said he was done with her. I then asked if he'd be ok leaving things like that if she died. He said he was. I don't think he understood that I had had a death prediction, but since no predictions are 100% accurate, I wouldn't have said that in the first place. She did unexpectedly pass away, as she got an infection that suddenly got worse and her body just couldn't handle it.
Have I been asked to predict death?
Yes, many times. Often it's for shock value, people who don't believe in the work I do, have felt the need to ask me that. I'm not sure why this is such a common question, as we all die, so why would the timing of it, be so important? Also, if I'm right, you've died, so it's not like it will be useful to me or you. If you don't believe in the work I do, you won't make any arrangements anyway.
There are times when a death prediction is a reason for me to do a Reading. This is because when people know death is near there are a lot of decisions that need to be made. If you know you are terminal or have denigrating disease, knowing how much time you have will help you.
For caregivers, knowing somebody has a few months left, means a level of care might be still done at home, while knowing it's going to take 2 years is a different story. I've seen people lament this both ways: putting somebody into hospice care, because care got too heavy, only for the person to die a few hours later or trying to keep everything running at home and getting into health problems themselves because years later the person is still alive.
When I do a Reading, I try to see how fast the disease will progress and you often can see different phases. For one person, whose mom was suffering from dementia and in a care home, the path was very clear and she did died in the exact month I saw. It gave her the time to say goodbye, to prepare for each phase and to space out her visits appropriately.
For another person, the situation was more uncertain. He had been given up already and then pulled through. There wasn't a short term terminal disease per se, but he was struggling with a lot of issues in the hospital that were hard on the body (infection etc.) and with a longer term terminal disease. I agreed to do a Reading for free, but said it probably wouldn't be as useful, as the body can suddenly quit. It seemed like he might be still there for a few months, but in the end fever spiked and he did pass away suddenly.
When it's not about death, but death still shows up
I would never just tell people that somebody they love or they themselves are going to die soon. That would be highly unethical in my opinion. I'm not God, so I'm not 100% certain and letting somebody live under the specter of death isn't right. So if you do order a Reading, I'd never tell you that. I usually do say something more subtle or steer somebody in the direction of spending time with people as we never know when our time on earth is up if it feels like it needs to be said.
If I'm asked to do a Healing for somebody, I do feel I have the right to decline if I think it's not useful. That might be because somebody is unwilling to change, hasn't given permission and should be able to do that or if somebody's time is up. I had somebody ask if I could give some extra energy or even do a session with a family member that was currently in the hospital. I saw that things were terminal, so I told her, that it wouldn't be useful for health, but was possible for acceptance or pain relief. The next day the doctors found more problems and told the family the terminal diagnosis.
Have a question for me about my work, me or my techniques? Post a comment on the blog, Facebook Fan Page or talk to me in the practice.
Dear People,
I wanted to combine the November and December Readings, but December was a whirlwind that just shook up many things. Some of you know my sister ended up in the hospital a few days before Christmas and that put a dent in the time I had to update the blog.
So today, even though it's the halfway mark in January, I'm officially doing the last Monthly Evaluation Reading to end 2013. I know a lot of people who do symbolic endings for their year and most of the time I don't, but 2013 has been a heavy year for me. 2014, as I told a client yesterday, will be Power Woman year, so I'm planning to kick ass.
I've decided to go with the "Hemels Licht, Wijsheden van de Engelen" from Sulamith Wulfing, which has illustrations that I just love.
What should I take away with me from 2013: 11. Don't ask somebody who knows the path for directions, because afterwards you will never be able to get lost
An interesting card in which you can see a larger Angel holding on to a child. I know that oftentimes, people are afraid to listen to their intuition. Afraid because it might tell you to make a decision or to take a path that you don't want to take. In the bible Jonah's story is a prime example of that, wanting to flee instead of face what he knows is right.
I'm human. Sometimes I'm scared to ask for the road. Scared to hear that I need to make sacrifices that I don't want to make. Scared that I will hear something that I do not like. Even so, I need truth in my life, to make the best decisions and to live a life that is vibrant. 2013 had some very uncomfortable truths for me and others around me. I will continue to try to be brave and face these truths.
What should I leave behind from 2013: 18. Because you have placed your loved one on a pedestal, in the end, you will be unjust to them.
Ah, well, I know this one, quite well. I've talked about it only yesterday. Sometimes I just wish people can be nice, polite, caring and great. It's been the bane of my existence that I can be very disappointed when people are selfish, careless, jealous or otherwise engaged in activities that I dislike.
I know that I need to find it in my heart to let go of that judgement and to embrace all people, on all levels. I will ask my Angels to help me leave this behind in 2013 and to start 2014 with Acceptance.
What do I need to know about 2014: 32. The Law of the Spiritual Path is simple: Say little, be very loving, give everything, judge nobody, strive for everything that is good and move tirelessly forward.
Well, there isn't much more to say to that, I must say. I'm not that happy with the tirelessly forward part, but the rest, the rest is all fine. I believe truly, that only the Path to a vibrant life, to a Spiritual Life is what brings all joys, love and fulfilment on our Path.
I wish everybody the best in 2014 and hope your life and year will be filled with goodness, joy, love, care and happiness. You all deserve the best! This has been the last Evaluation Reading - this year I will be writing more healing exercises and answering more questions on the blog.

Dear People,
Things have been a little hectic around here, but this morning I have the time to sit down and do a Reading. The best Readings are sometimes done in a hurry (5 minutes or less), but I like to burn some incense and relax when I do a Reading for myself.
I've chosen to work with the "Helende Lotus Kaarten" or Healing Lotus Cards by Yvonne & Serrie Nieuwhoff - van Berkel. I've used them in many weekly Readings before but then took a break from this deck. I bought it second hand at a flea market so I'm not even sure if it has all the cards. For my Reading today I chosen to the theme Nurturing as it fits with the cold weather here!
How do I nurture the body in my practice and what can I do to improve nurture? (my own/my clients/improvement): Heart Chakra: Forgiveness, Third Eye Chakra: Darkness, Third Eye Chakra: Color
Well, I can see how I nurture my own body through forgiveness in the practice. I work a lot with my heart Chakra when I do healing work to stay open to my clients, to give nurturing healing energy and to be present. Sometimes I help clients with issues I have worked through or that I then will see within myself. Helping somebody else can also help yourself, because what you are able to forgive in another person is what you will start to forgive in yourself.
I can see how I nurture the bodies of clients through my Third Eye Chakra. Often people do not know what root causes have got them in such trouble. They medicate until that is no longer an option and then search for alternatives. When I see blockages I often see them as dark spots or feel them as dark sticky energy. This is also the main reason I call myself a Psychic Healer, because without those insights and capabilities it would be a lot harder to heal people.
Improvement through Third Eye Chakra Color is very interesting to me. I bought some lamps that can shine different colors (LivingColors from Philips). So far I have only used them at home for myself, but I was planning on using them in sessions. I also work with crystals sometimes which are also very colorful. I will definitely research more around and try out some new things.
How do I nurture the heart in my practice and what can I do to improve nurture? (my own/my clients/improvement): Third Eye Chakra: Trust, Heart Chakra: Affinity, Throat Chakra: Harmony & Sound.
There is no better way to nurture one's heart then with trust. I do trust that what I'm told will happen and what I see and hear it true. It does nurture my heart that I always know how to hit the right note with clients. Often they tell me that I'm saying what they are thinking or using words that they use themselves too. Most strikingly was recently when I used a Flemish word that I didn't even know, but was perfect for my client.
So, I can see how many clients feel that I have affinity with them and know what they are experiencing and what they need. Affinity is very important energy wise to make sure that you vibrate in tune with each other and get the best results. I'm very pleased to see it here.
As for improving heart nurturing in the practice I drew two cards (stuck together) which were both 5th Chakra. I do work with sound sometimes, but not as much as I would like. Today I will, because somebody booked a massage and sounds will help well being. I usually do not use sounds in the practice as it can distract from what I'm saying or asking during sessions. Most of the healing music I have at the practice has vocals, but I recently bought some more relaxing CD's, so I will definitely look into that in the next couple of sessions. I also am glad for the singing bowl I have and use it sometimes. Time to create more harmony!
How do I nurture the mind in my practice and what can I do to improve nurture? (my own/my clients/improvement): Throat Chakra: Music, Third Eye Chakra: Vision, Crown Chakra: Awareness
I can see how I nurture my mind with Music. At the moment I have already listened to music for an hour or so. I love listening to relaxing music and finding peace and harmony. I can have quite a bit of brain storming and nervous energy in my mind if I'm not mindful. So, I choose to meditate and listen to music regularly to nurture my mind in healthier ways.
My Psychic Vision does help many clients to nurture their minds. Sometimes because I speak of things in ways that they haven't considered yet, sometimes because I give voice to lingering doubts or other thoughts they weren't aware of yet, sometimes because I confirm things that they know but haven't used yet. Clients often continue on the road to deeper self discovery after being at my practice. Many have told me that they started workshops or courses or started other nurturing activities. I'm always very happy when people nurture themselves.
For improvement it's important that I continue with the importance of self awareness. Self Awareness has great significance to leading a happy vibrant life. Without it, we don't know where to build, where to release or where to go. Many of my workshops have self awareness components, because I find it so important. I will definitely write some more articles about this and revise some of my workshops.
How do I nurture Spirit in my practice and what can I do to improve nurture? (my own/my clients/improvement):Third Eye Chakra: Memory, Heart Chakra: Self Acceptance, Solar Plexus Chakra: Warmth
Memory in conjunction with the Third Eye Chakra makes me think of Past Lives and Karma. I have been working with that extensively for myself, but I know there are still some blockages there. It's rare to have past lives intrude upon the present one in such a degree that it causes massive blocks. Still I know more positive benefit can be had by working on the past.
For clients, I do recommend to nurture your Spirit with self acceptance. That it's ok to walk at your own pace. That you are always where you need to be. That the road you are taking is the one that is meant to be. Self Acceptance is a huge part of the work I do with clients. Often they are surprised at out dated belief systems or self destructive behavior that comes from not accepting yourself. I am not, as in this western world, many are told to push harder and farther and to ignore their own boundaries. Healing this mindset of course harkens back towards the Awareness.
Warmth is something that had me smile a bit, as I always make sure the practice is warm. It's not nice to lay on the table or talk and feel cold. It's important to be comfortable when healing. Also, many of my clients have talked about the fact that they feel I am a warm person. This is a very beautiful compliment to me.
Well, many things to try in the coming weeks. If you are interested in trying out music, sounds or color within your session, please let me know!

Dear People,
I didn't have much questions to ask this summer, because I had a busier summer then usual so that always cuts down on my reflection time. However, I did want to do another evaluation Reading so I chose the Water Crystal Oracle. I almost never use this Oracle with Questions. Instead I use it to help release emotions or blockages, bring some positivity and sometimes just to enjoy.
So I just decided to draw 4 Cards and received: Reverence, Self Love, Love for Humanity and Automatic Nerve Hado: Affection.
I can certainly see these cards vibrate within Hart en Ziel and me. I do the work I do with a lot of Reverence. Often people tell me how lucky and blessed I must be to be able to do this kind of work. Naturally, I do study and practice and having your own company is a lot of work on the administration and promotion side, but I can't deny I feel incredibly blessed. It's wonderful to feel the healing energy in my practice, through my body and hands and within my clients energy field. I love being able to help with the road ahead and getting the information my clients need. I know that I am only the facilitator and so I feel deep reverence for what some people call The Universe, The Universal Energy, A Higher Power, and I simply call God. I truly believe that as long as you recognize the reverence and wonder it will be impossible to have a bloated ego!
Self Love is another important pillar of my work. It's important for me that clients feel self empowered, feel like I help them by telling them about choices and consequences so they stay in charge. Many clients report being kinder to themselves and loving themselves more during and after treatment. Also, it's important that I have enough self love to protect my own boundaries. A lot of people who have strong Helper tendencies forget their own lives and burn out and I do not want to be one of them. Sometimes that means I have to disappoint a client, sometimes it means I have to take a little break or recharge myself. I receive a lot of energy from the work I do, but I do not have unlimited time.
Love for Humanity is something I thought about just this weekend when I went to a free Music Festival (Zomerterras in Vlaardingen). There was a band there that said they dedicated the following song to everybody who is making a positive difference in the world. I do feel I'm making a positive difference in the world by aiding people to become their true selves, by allowing more positivity and love to flow and to release negativity. I am still working (although not as diligently as I would like) on my book, so I can reach even more people.
Automatic Nerve Hado: Affection is one of the 12 Healing Cards in this Deck. The idea is that some of our emotions are tied to organs and that of course links closely to EFT which I also work with, which theory is that our emotions can become locked within our body and energy field. Affection is one that I truly feel for all of my clients and which makes it so natural to want the best for them. I also know many clients feel affection for me and want me to succeed. I hope to find affection to be growing increasingly in my practice!
Do you recognize these things in me and my practice or have a story to share? Let me know in the comments or on Facebook!

Dear People,
Often I do Readings on new ventures, workshops or other ideas I was brainstorming about. So right now I do a lot of different things: workshops, courses, sessions by phone, e-mail or at the practice. I also use several different techniques. It seems I'm always adding new things and while that is very satisfying it also eats up quite a bit of time. So this month, I decided to check what I should cut from my practice.
I decided to work with the Good Witch/Bad Witch Oracle from Gillian Kemp again. I've used it for a Monthly Evaluation Reading before. It will help fine tune where I need to make changes. Sometimes you do not have a specific set of Questions for a Reading or a focus, so I will usually cast a wider net and then fine tune the Questions. When I work with clients, I usually do a General Reading first, so I can see what issues pop up. After that, we will deepen the issues so the advice becomes more specific. Readings for myself, I have more time then during a session, so some questions will probably be superfluous, but it will also give a clearer total picture.
Current state: Good Witches: Immortal Witch, The Woods Witch, Happy Witch and Water Witch. Bad Witches: The Silver Moon Witch
Overall, my practice is healthy. I enjoy the work I do, it gives me and others much happiness and a clearer view on both their emotional/subconscious as the rational/conscious. The only problem is the one most companies have at the moment: money. The Silver Moon Witch is all about creating enough money and feeling safe and secure. Sometimes I do feel like a little boat on the waves, wondering where new clients will spring from. And then, out of the blue, three people will call me. I often told people that being self-employed is not my dream, but with my calling I have no choice.
Am I spending the right amount of time on clients (aka e-mails, preparation time, phone calls)? Good Witch: Treasure Witch, Bad Witches: The Warty Witch & The Bat Witch
Ok, I know technically that I spend a little too much time on clients sometimes, but I treasure my clients. Sometimes I can spend around 3 or 4 hours answering e-mails, picking up phone calls and preparing for sessions. I definitely know that I should cut down on it some, but I am often very long winded I must admit.
I will look into several options to cut down time a bit.
Am I spending the right amount of time on brainstorming new workshops? Bad Witch: The Green Witch, Abracadrabra Witch and Good Witch: The Immortal Witch
I much enjoy giving workshops on plenty of different subjects. I love to teach, as it gives everybody the opportunity to learn and flower. I believe we are all eternal students. It does however, take quite a bit of time. I brainstorm the workshops, make my own workshop books and have to do quite a bit of promotion for them. I adjust workshops based on the groups that I will receive.
Many times people have told me that I should cut down on the amount of workshops that I give and I have done so this past year. Even so, it might free up more time if I make a dedicated change. I plan also to have more leadership as a workshop leader. I'm often also involved in the workshop if the number of participants is uneven and then it's hard to check up on all participants.
I got a lot of inspiration while working on this, so I guess I have more then enough on my plate to brainstorm with now!
Do I need to cut down the number of techniques I use: Good Witch: Happy Witch, Bad Witches: The Bat Witch and The Green Witch
I guess I already knew this, which is why I asked. I have some techniques that I rarely use and that I hardly ever advertise because I rarely use them. In the beginning when I just started I loved working with as many different techniques as possible. I tried honing my skills with different things to see what suited me and sometimes just for fun. However, business wise it can be quite a hassle to keep up with all of them and to take all my tools everywhere.
Also I have seen changes in some of the techniques I use, which is wonderful. I want to work in a deeper fashion with those techniques so it will certainly be interesting to work with them more often.
Well a lot to think about this summer and to move towards new horizons! I'm excited to implement some changes that others might not see, but are important for me!

Dear People,
Well, this is the Reading for May. I have been a bit busy preparing for the party on Saturday. Really looking forward to celebrating with my clients and enjoy some tea and sweets. So, I decided to do a Reading focusing on mostly the past few years. I chose the Tarot of Dreams because it's very beautiful. I don't work with it often as it is quite large.
Year 0 (2008): Knight of Cups Rx
I still remember the start of my company. It was very hard to be confident that I could start up, because I still had major health challenges and no experience starting a business. I still felt it was the right thing to do to start sharing my Healing with the world. Many of my friends had seen me get healthier and had inquired as to my methods. I decided to take the leap and rent an office space.
I remember the idealistic happiness of knowing I was starting on the right path even though I was very doubtful it would work financially. Faith and trust are hard when you have seen no concrete evidence.
Year 1 (2009): King of Coins Rx
This is the year I moved to a new location and changed my name. I was surprised I was making more money then I thought as most people told me you won't turn a profit for the first 3 years at least. Even thought it was a very modest profit, I felt very proud. I also continued working and refining new techniques.
I was glad to move to a better location and to start fresh. I remember how happy I was to furnish the new space even though it was larger and more costly then I would have liked. I loved my new name and website.
Year 2 (2010): Page of Wands Rx
This was the year where I had to look and see that things weren't going as well as I hoped. I had to look carefully and see that I was putting in a lot of time and effort, but financially I wasn't receiving the right returns. I saw that if I kept this up, I wouldn't be able to continue the practice. So a price raise was necessary and I was lucky to move within the building to a smaller practice to save costs.
In 2010 I had to make some hard choices and temper my love for my work and my enthusiasm for what I was doing with smart choices. I did a lot of workshops in different locations to see what would work for me and for my clients.
Year 3 (2011) 10 of Swords Rx
2011 was a bit of a rebirth for me, transforming things and feeling better with the results. I started a course for weight loss that was fun and effective and was rebuilding on a more stable financial basis. I had to cut out things that weren't working for me. I remember when I started I wanted to try everything: networking meetings, advertising, new workshops, you name it, I was up for it. I noticed however that not everything was coming to fruition and if I didn't want to run empty, I had to make choices.
I started slimming down on what wasn't working in 2011 and seeing what direction I wanted to take. It certainly was slower going then I had hoped, but I was happy to do so. Word also started to spread about the transformative work I do, bringing in new clients.
Year 4 (2012) 7 of Coins
Last year I advertised more often as I wanted the practice to grow and me with it. I also picked up my studies, so it certainly was a busy year. Not everything got to fruition, but I still was happily assessing the situation and building a better future.
I received more feedback from clients on the work I do, started working on creating more of a web presence with the Blog and the Facebook Fan Page. Financially it wasn't the best year, as I had a lot of expenses, but I still was very happy with my work.
Year 5 (2013) 3 of Wands Rx
This year I'm happily anticipating the future. I feel like I am ready to take new steps in better directions. I'm glad of my social media presence and I have been attracting more clients and more abundance. I hope to look towards what needs to change for the better (probably sharing my office space) and where I can expand (more clients, businesses and international clients).
I am happy with how 2013 is going so far, even though the intuitive course I wanted to do couldn't start due to lack of interest. I love hosting workshops, but it takes a lot of time to prepare and promote. I really do have more then enough directions to expand into and am excited for the future.
Future: 8 of Wands
A beautiful card for the future, signaling high energy, movement and joy. This Card features many birds together with the wands and just makes me think on how much my work sets people free. Free to be who they are meant to be - joyful, loving and kind.

Dear People,
I love my business and helping others. I often receive something special from clients who feel I went above and beyond like flowers or other gifts. It's quite humbling but also wonderful. So, this month I'm going to see what I can do to increase customer satisfaction.
I chose to work with the TAO oracle from Ma Deva Padma. It's an Oracle based on the I Ching, so besides drawing Cards you can use coins to see what the changes are going to be.
What can I do to increase customer satisfaction during sessions: 38. Opposition
It's picture is wonderful as you can see two people, mirrored (up/down) and in different colors. One is yellow/green and the other is red/purple. This reminds me on how sometimes when I speak about spiritual parts of a message, people feel left out and want a more earthy approach and sometimes it's the other way around.
Sometimes it's also hard to translate the message I get into something that can be understood. I remember one time when I asked somebody if they had a young daughter and she said no. I asked her if she had a daughter between 14-16, which is young to me, but it wasn't to her in this context and she said yes. I guess teenager would have been a better word. I then told her that I felt that there wasn't enough male influence in her daughters world which caused tension between her and her mother. The woman answered that this was not the case, but when I asked if her husband left them, she said yes.
Miscommunication during sessions can happen. It's important for me that the other party speaks up so we can bring clarity to the situation. I have been summarizing sessions with clients at the end of a session sometimes to make sure we are on the same page. Recently another client also mentioned that she didn't like phone sessions as much, as she can't see my face.
Casting the I Ching Opposition changes to: The marrying Maiden
This is quite an interesting card as it depicts a bride with chains all around her. I guess I Ching let's me know that sometimes there is no perfect solution. You can set every rule you want, but miscommunication can still occur. I have to be honest and true and mindful of the opposition that can occur.
What can I do to increase customer satisfaction after sessions: 22. Grace
A lovely calming card that shows a Kimono made with Lotus flowers and water. It makes me feel sophisticated and joyful just looking at it.
Quite beautifully this card speaks of being a role model, of being a star and an example. I love Coyote Teaching, the way of Teaching by asking questions and responding with questions, by showing what you think is right by doing it. The way of the story teller, the way of the guru.
While this doesn't really give me a firm to-do list, it does make me realize that living up to my potential does increase satisfaction for all around. It also makes me think on how often people are interested in my life and how I normally am very private and don't post much about it online. Maybe I should reconsider that.
Casting the I Ching Grace changes to: Taming the power of the great
Interestingly this Card features a Buddha like figure being totally at ease before a bamboo forest. I guess I can relate to being quiet and to listen (I try to meditate regularly) and becoming one. I do think I need to ponder some decisions and some gifts of mine that I haven't used yet in my practice.
I can really recommend this Deck due to it's beautiful images and the serenity feeling I get from knowing: "Everything Changes, Everything is in Flux". It gives a natural way of looking at life in cycles without worries in time of lack or need and being mindful in times of abundance and joy.

Dear People,
Spring is in the air here and I'm anxious about new prospects blooming suddenly and surprisingly. At the moment however, it's a bit cold again, so now it's a good time to do a Reading with a cup of tea. I did ask for help for all my sessions in the last few weeks, following my February Reading. I haven't had the time yet to create some Wish Mandala's but I'm sure to be able to do it soon.
For this Reading, I decided to use "The Wisdom Well" by Ivarna Kalinkova
I feel this is a Deck that works extensively with Archetypes and decided to work on the area of group work. I love working in groups and am very excited about my new Course (Spiritual Balance with the Seasons). However, while this is fulfilling work, I also have to do some promotion for it which I have disliked in the past. This year I'm doing better, but I want to improve in this area.
Group work: What strengths do I bring as a Teacher: 27 The Lace Maker
Certainly an interesting card to have as a Teacher for strength qualities. The card features a spider. In many cultures Spider is a wonderful teacher, but also a trickster. Their stories will allow the audience to learn and examine their own beliefs. I do know I am quite a story teller, which means often my workshops run late!
Group work: What do I need to develop as a Teacher: 14 The Mirror Woman
The mirror woman looks like a siren, sitting on the waters with a huge sea shell in her hands. I do know that I need to captivate my audience (promotion wise). Once people are there, all is well, but before that I often have difficulty finding the words.
Mirror Woman lets me know to not only look at myself but also to look at my prospective audience. What do they need, what would they be interested in, what key words will make them curious!
Group work: What advice do I need to hear 6: Father Earth?
It was always strange to me that in this Deck, Earth is considered male. I have to admit that I often work with Mother Earth energies, but not often with Father energies. It's interesting how when I saw the image I immediately thought: Father Time!
I think the advice is to take my time and to build influence as a Teacher.

Dear People,
Well January definitely went differently then I would have thought. Normally I do not have such long vacations, but now I was really needed elsewhere. The weight loss course has started with a wonderful new group and I'm back on track with articles and the Facebook Fan Page.
So now it's time to do a Reading for the practice again. I don't have any specific questions in mind so I decided to do a free flow Reading.
A free flow Reading has no questions or set positions. I love doing them when I do want some information, but when I do not think I know the appropriate questions to ask. They are nice to check in with guidance. I decide to use my Angel Oracle by Ambika Wauters for this Reading.
I chose 3 Cards and received: The Angel of Being: My Soul rests in the truth that my being is eternal, The Arch Angel Metatron: I am united with the source of all goodness, love and creativity and the Angel of Discernment: Through the grace of the divine I am able to know the right path.
What instantly strikes me is the Angel of Discernment, for the practice, it's very important that I am connected with true guidance and am able to tell people of the path that brings them to healing, health, well being and balance. I often feel that I'm aided very strongly, especially since sessions never drain me. It reminds me however, that I can also ask consciously for help. I do prepare sessions in advance, but almost never ask for help. This is definitely a good idea to do in the future. I know help is always available to me.
Metatron for me, is an Archangel I do not often call upon. I worked extensively with Michael to support healthy boundaries, to work on being assertive and to stand up for myself. I worked with Gabriel to clear Chakras and energy fields and with Raphael to promote healing. Metatron for me is the healer teacher, the voice of reason and love. I will call upon him more in the future and this week to promote balance and to get my voice out there. I have been making progress in promoting myself more, but I feel that it's possible to receive better results and to do more.
The Angel of Being is all about being at ease with who you are. It features a Mandala which is quite funny to me, as recently somebody asked me if I still did Mandala work as one popped up in a Reading for me. I do believe that I am called to do more creator work and the Angel of Being is excellent Guide to help me in that. I think I will create a few Wish Mandalas for myself soon.
All in All some interesting areas to spend more time and energy in. The Angels do tell me that many things are moving in the right direction for me, so I'm grateful and content.

Dear people,
Another month has come and gone and I'm preparing for the new workshops of 2013, the Weight Loss Course and yet another one which will remain a little secret as of yet! I'm also considering my advertising budget of 2013. This year I did some more advertising in the paper and a lot of people have commented that they saw me in it. So, that's wonderful news! However, I didn't get that much new clients from the advertisements. Most of my clients come from word of mouth or the website.
Still, if I want to continue with my practice it has to grow! Since I'm good at my job, most clients do stay with me for years. However, after the initial 3-5 sessions, they might only have a session or two for the next 3-5 years!
So, time for a Reading to maximize advertising results! I've decided to use the Pendulum to do this. It a quick way to see how things are going. I could of course make a chart, but for this purpose I'm using free fall questions. Questioning technique is very important with Pendulums. The Pendulum you see in the picture is one that was gifted to me by a client.
Question: Should I find new places to advertise to get maximum results?
A heavy swinging Yes. So, time to pin point.
Question: Are those places mainly online?
A small no. So some might be online, but most are not.
Question: Should I advertise in a magazine?
A maybe.
Question: Should I advertise my practice with flyers more?
A definite yes.
Question: Should I advertise my practice with flyers in a door-to-door fashion?
Probably not.
Question: Should I advertise my practice with flyers in the inner city?
Yes. (I have to ask the city council how that is arranged in Delft, however I see a lot of people do this)
Question: Is there another way in which flyers will give good results?
No.
Question: Is there another way in which I'm advertising now that I should expand in?
No.
Question: Should I slash my budget for the paper?
No.
Question: Was I right in choosing a different category for my ads in the paper?
Heavy yes.
Question: Is it worthwhile to advertise in other categories?
No.
Question: Is it worthwhile to advertise in another paper?
Yes.
Question: Is it worthwhile to advertise in a regional paper?Yes. (I asked a couple of cities nearby to pinpoint the right one!)
Question: Did I miss another worthwhile way to advertise my practice? No.
You can see that I start with broader questions and narrow down on what I want to know. If I have a general idea of what I want but I have quite a lot of option I like working with the pendulum. It doesn't give you much extra information, compared to other techniques, but it does work fast and helps eliminate other options.
Do you work with the Pendulum too or do you want to comment on some other advertising options? Send me an e-mail or leave a message!
Heavy yes.

No.

Dear People,
The Weight Loss Course is almost ending. I'm not an ending type of person, I must confess. I always miss sessions and clients, although I love the fact that they are ready to strike out on their own. I guess this is why I offer so many ways to keep in touch (Facebook Fan Page, Blog and E-mail).
However, a new beginning is of course also in the works. I'd love to have a Weight Loss Course in 2013. I already started the first process of advertising and I've brainstormed about it a bit too. This year I've had again, great results (not only concerning weight loss, but also gains regarding self-esteem, self-love, metabolism and energy), but I'm always willing to change to find even better results.
I've decided to work with the Cope Deck for my brainstorm today. I love working with it in combination with EFT, as the images evoke feelings that can be released or reinforced. So it's very suited to the weight loss course, which also works heavily with EFT.
What would a Weight Loss Course in 2013 bring me and my clients?
The Cards have no names, but they featured: a woman swimming happily in the waters, a circle of people standing/sitting around somebody talking and a boy and girl sitting together looking at the sky who seem to have survived a bombardment.
Well, I can easily relate to the first two cards. I've seen time and time before how the course lessons are a happy flow of energy which refreshes and energizes us. Also, water is the universal symbol of emotions and the course helps navigate those troublesome emotions concerning weight loss and body image. I can see how the group of people that is listening to a single one relates to me taking on the role as course leader. This year again, I had to balance the happy chatting with the working ;) The last two years I have worked as a participant too, but since I'm almost on goal weight, I probably won't do so next year. This card seems to reinforce that.
The last one, seems to be focused on how it can feel a lot safer to do work together. I love hosting workshops, but sometimes it's a lot of work to promote them. So I often wondered if I shouldn't just focus on sessions instead. However, weight loss is tackled a lot better together as a group.
What can I incorporate in the course to improve it?
I swear I truly shuffled, but the second card came up again. Ok, another reinforcement that I should take upon the role as course leader. The second card shows the roots of a tree, while the third was up side down, a man behind a barbed wired fence looks away.
The first course in 2011 had a little bit of personal work with me at every session. In the second course, I decided to focus more on group work, more lessons (twice a month instead of once) and personal homework. This third course I wanted to do more roots work. To help people personally with what is the root course of their weight gain and the inability to lose it. I will offer 3 personal telephone sessions of 25 minutes for each participant to do so. It might be necessary to do more roots work in the course as well. I will definitely look into how to incorporate this more in the lessons.
The third card reminds me on how important it is to feel free of this issue. Many people feel trapped in an overweight body, trapped with the idea it can't be solved overnight. While I spend a lot of time explaining that Weight loss is a marathon, a path of living that's healthy happy and balanced, and not a sprint, I think I should also focus more on the results. To do so, we have to face the prison we made for ourselves.
What do I need to know about my course?
A card showing a handkerchief with in it, many different items, ranging from an apple to a flute, to a little cat to a telescope. A card showing a man, standing on some kind of ledge, holding his hand before his face and jumping off. He's strangely contorted. A woman with a blindfold and a lute or harp sitting on a stone.
I think the handkerchief shows me that my course has many different theme's, so everything that you could possible need is in it. Some people feel more connected to youth patterns, while others feel more connected to emotional eating. If I wanted too, I'm sure I could find more then the current 9 theme's. I'm going to check up on each and every one of them and see if I want to connect them more, like the items lying on this handkerchief.
The man shows me that doing a course is a bit of a plunge. I often find it a pity that I never have the chance to offer a free lesson so you can see if this course is for you. The problem is that I don't have the space to accommodate a large group. This is why I often have an open house day where you can see the workbook, try out EFT and ask me questions. I'm going to muse on other ideas concerning this as well.
The woman on the stone is a bit of a muse to me. I guess I do need to know that I need to promote the course a bit better. I haven't done so much last year, but for 2013 I certainly will. I know this course is very worthwhile, so I have to be a siren and entice people to have a look! I have a couple of events in November, so I better take the workbook with me!
Interested in the Weight Loss course or have questions? Don't hesitate to ask!

Today I'm using a Spiritual Technique that I call Energetic/Spiritual Drawing to get a Reading. There will be a blog post about this technique soon so you can try it at home if you want too. So, I only offer the quick explanation here: I draw what I sense/feel/see.
I decided to check up on the Spiritual/Energetic Levels of the actual practice, aka the room in which I do most of my work in Delft.
I started by drawing a floor map of my room in the building. It only featured the door, the shape of the room and the windows. I picked up my coloring pencils and got to work.
The first thing I noticed is that there is truly a lot of energy in the room (this often gets commented upon by clients as well), so it's hard to draw straight lines. Lines tend to become wavy and want to be drawn fast and furious.
Where the massage table is standing I drew blue lines, looking like the waves of a sea or ocean. Energetically speaking, this is where I tame emotions, and the area looks clear and sparkly except for the head rest. I often get bothered by the thing and it got drawn as a big black box. I wanted to have alternative options for a long time as I noted most people aren't comfortable in the head rest.
This Reading suggests I'm past due with offering better options and trying out new things.
The windows had purple energy streaming in and out. Especially the right window (which I rarely open) has a lot of energy in front of it. A plant currently lives there, so it might be adapting to the energy and keeping it centered. Since the other window which I do always open has energy pouring it, this is definitely something I want to continue doing.
This Reading suggest that another plant would benefit me, keeping even more purposeful and powerful energy in.
The place where I keep my Crystals and the Coffee machine is filled with a yellow and purple fire. My Crystals get cleansed now and again, but not that often, since the room itself seems to cleanse them.
This Reading suggests that all is well in this area although I might want to spread the Crystals out some more as the energy there is burning quite brightly.
The place were my sound system stands on top of the dresser is curiously empty. Not much energy there. A good place to put some of my Crystals I think!
The place where I keep my extra chairs is a deep blue and round well of potential. It seems they are out of the way but, there is more if I want to tap into it.
This Reading suggests that there is potential in group work and I can accommodate a larger group if I want too.
The place where I normally sit with clients, containing some chairs and a large table is transformed into a large Pyramid. It's color is Orange, showing Energetically that a lot gets done here and it's a very emotional secure place. It's the color of the Sacral Chakra and symbolizes productive emotions. A Pyramid is a symbol of growth and ascendance as it moves from a strong base into a proud tip. A human like figure is contained within the Pyramid, showing a burning violet in the Third Eye Chakra, a representation of the Higher Self, which watches over the work I do. My own seat is a bright apple green, a light fresh color of love and joy and is a Spiral, the symbol growing into healthier balance.
This Reading suggest that all is well in this area (I find it a bit cluttered in real life) and nothing should be done here.
Well, some interesting findings for me here with this Technique, which means I have to change some things. Maybe in a month or so I will recheck and see where the energy stands then!
Last month I was called up again to a certain forum by a stray e-mail. I decided to get my trusted Faeries Oracle out and play along with the Fae some. As you can see, this Oracle is very light and energetic. I used it a lot for Energy Healing Work for myself and sometimes for others in Groups. Since I was planning on having an Energy Healing Course in 2013, I felt it more then appropriate to work with them this Month.
What is the Root of this Course: The Maiden, The Guardian at the Gate Rx, The Green Woman Rx
I do feel at the root, this Course is one of Miracles, of changing yourself and of seeing what needs to grow and what does not. Strangely enough in this Deck, the Maiden is a young baby. It gives off a fragile vibe, but at the same time one of inner strength.
I would love to have a course in 2013, but I fear the Fae are telling me that now might not yet be the time. I might need to get a clearer view of what I want to accomplish with this course. The Green Woman is all about nurturing the right ideas and pulling out the weeds.
I was wondering if I want to have a course for people who already know Healing or for beginners. If I want a course with a set Theme a month or not. I have so much that I can choose from because I have been working with Energy for such a long time and with a lot of different techniques.
What do I need for this Course: Death, The Singer of Connection
I do of course need to connect to others who wish to follow an Energy Healing Course. Also, my other course needs to end (Death), before I can start a new one. Two Courses a year is the maximum that I do with the practice.
What do I need to know: He of the Fiery Sword
This Fae is one of active will. Telling me that yes, there is a good basis for this course and I should move ahead with my plans. However, it's important that I slice through some decisions on what exactly I will be teaching.
If you are interested in an Energy Healing Course, don't hesitate to e-mail me or leave a message here or on Facebook based on what you would like.

Summer is the ideal time for brainstorming for me. Since I still had one Monthly Evaluation Reading to do, I decided to work on an issue that is linked to the practice, but not always so apparent. However, I do want to improve on Bedside Manner.
You can be a great professional, give great advice and aid, but if you are Bedside Manner is standoffish your clients might not feel heard, appreciated or welcomed. To be fair, I haven't had any complaints about my Bedside Manner. However, a few nights ago I received some information in dreams showing me that some improvements can be made. So, here we are!
For this topic I decided to use the Universal Love Healing Oracle by Toni Carmine Salerno. It's very special to me as I heard I won it on the day of my grandmothers funeral. It always reminds me of her kindness and compassion for others.
What is the current energy of my Bedside Manner? Forgiveness
This Card depicts Kuan Yin, the Chinese Goddess of Compassion and Mercy. I have a statue of her in my bedroom. She is depicted with a dragon on her side: one that is tamed by her energy. This card radiates knowledge, wisdom, care, compassion and mercy.
That certainly is the type of energy I want to bring to my clients. No matter the problem, no matter the questions, I won't judge. I'd be open to help you and radiate towards you that we are all loved and cared for, especially in our darkest hours.
What energy can improve my Bedside Manner? Expectancy
Expectancy is a very red card, showing a red flower in the middle of a purple field. It has four symbols around it.
Sometimes clients expectations are such that it's almost impossible to fulfill. They might yearn for something that isn't right for them or for a resolution that isn't the best for everyone involved. This is so human and natural, but hard on both of us. I do need to tell people when their expectations aren't correct. However: I can use the power of expectancy to turn their expectations into love.
What energy is interrupting my Bedside Manner? Relationship & Tantric Union
Relationship is a purely blue card depicting a winged figure and two dolphins. Tantric Union shows two figures holding each other and having the same aura.
These two cards enforce each other, yet show a different way of relating. Spiritually speaking: we are all one. This energy, spiritually, can be expressed in a Tantric Union, and show a path of deep connection. However, while we are all one, we are also separate. We have our own lessons to learn and our own path to follow. When relating with another, it's often easier to melt into them and their wishes then to stand up for ourselves.
These two cards remind me to keep the relationship between me and clients, loving, caring and spiritual. It's important to keep this relationship balanced for all involved.

Dear People,
I'm still one month behind with the Evaluations, but since it's Summer I might be able to catch up. These past 2 weeks I have been brainstorming on a few ideas. One of the Decks that I usually work with to get some quick Yes/No Answers is the Good Witch/Bad Witch Deck from Gillian Kemp. I don't usually work much with Witches or Witch-Mythology, but this Deck has a lot of humor and a very nice structure.
In essence you draw 3 Cards for each question. Two or more Good Witches means Yes, two or more Bad Witches means No. Depending on which Witches show up, you can get a good idea on why it's a Yes or No. While I made quite a few decisions yet, it's fun to evaluate them beforehand with the Witches instead of seeing how they pan out!
Is offering "the One" Reading a good idea?
The Good Witch: Stardust Witch, The Bad Witch: Warty Witch and The Bad Witch: The Wickedest Witch
Interestingly, this answer would be "No". It seems that the Witches tell me that while doing these Readings will give hope to people and that little bit of magic that they sometimes need, the Witches warn that this is just a stepping stone (Warty Witch) and that there is something I might not have seen. This might cause some opposition that I might need to be aware of.
A caution then, for me when offering this type of Reading!
Is offering the "Dail A for Answers" session a good idea?
Bad Witch: The Green Witch, Bad Witch: The Abracadabra Witch, Bad Witch: The Tortured Witch
This answer would also be "No", although the quality of the bad witches is such that it seems to be a caution to me. The Green Witch speaks of good luck and timing, making sure you do not take on too much, while the Abracadabra Witch speaks of having all the aid you need and the Tortured Witch speaks of allowing to move on from bad times. All in all, it does seem this type of session might be a bit more time consuming then I thought as well as bringing more emotional stress then I anticipated.
I decided to draw an additional Set to see what more could be learned:
The Bad Witch: Thunder and Lightening Witch, The Good Witch: The Treasure Witch and The Good Witch: The Timeless Witch
Two witches again, which speak of good rewards and taking your time to set something up. The Thunder and Lightening Witch tells me that sometimes the technology might fail and I need to implement some additional things for this.
Some nice information that I will use to implement these two types of Sessions!
Is there something else that is good for me and my clients to offer?
The bad Witch: The Coven Witch, the Good Witch: Ageless Witch and the Earth Witch
Ah, I know of what the Witch speak, the Coven implies a group offering, while the Ageless Witch implies it will be based on Inner Beauty and Richness, while the Earth Witch also speaks of material rewards.
This offering is going to be a little secret a little longer! The other two will be explained in Today's Newsletter and on Facebook and the Website a little later!
If you thought of something else you'd like me to offer, don't hesitate to ask!

Dear People,
Well, the Monthly Readings aren't really on time that much anymore, but I do quite like them so I will suffer the fact that I seem to be always 1 Month behind! For this Reading I chose the Housewives Tarot. I adore this little Deck because it's spunky, retro and funny. I decided to go with the big Spread called: "The Martini" (did I mention funny already?) for this Reading which you guessed already, is in the shape of a Martini.
What is the Practice present position: The Empress
Oh, a lovely lovely Major Arcana. In this Deck she is represented by an older mom figure which holds up a book called: Recipes for Success". I do find that the practice is very succesfull at the moment. I'm adoring my clients, the workshops and the courses, but... I don't think I'm there yet! She has a lot of food on the table and that sadly, isn't the case yet for me!
What is my present expectation: Nine of Pentacles Rx
This card shows a woman who has a dishwasher for a body, picking out just on plate, but she is busy with many inside of her. Yes, I do expect a lot of work! I hope to not be the only one though, and have some help getting those plates (ideas, opportunities) out. I still have some workshops and other things on the slow burn. I don't think they will move along as quickly as I would like.
What is the unexpected that may happen: The Emperor
Oh, that's funny, the Empress and the Emperor are both next to each other now. Well, it would be a nice surprise to have someone take a strong interest in the Practice and to build something together! I have an inkling who this might be, but I'm not telling...
What is the Practice's Past: The Devil Rx
Many people do not like the Devil as a card, but in this Deck she is a chocolate pie, but sexy legs! I always grin when I see her. The Devil is not such a bad card at all, although it might shock. I've been working with Cards for years, so I know how to get the important message from each of them.
Devil in this Deck is really about materialism and I know it hasn't been about that for me in the past - hence the hike up in price to make things work for me. It's an admonishment that I have to take into account that I need to earn enough to live!
What is in the Practice's Future: 8 of Cups
This card shows a woman wiping her forehead and a stack of 8 Cups. Phew, it looks like a lot of work is in the future. As well as some decision making - 8 Cups are too much for me. Although perfect for workshops (in which 8 people is my max).
Difficulties I'm facing: 9 of Wands
Funny how 9 of Wands is the typical exhaustion card, although in this case the woman looks totally zen on top of a ladder. I do need to choose were to put in my time and energy though, echoing the future Card. All in all, not the toughest difficulty to face!
My responsibilities: 6 of Pentacles Rx
This Card seems to depict Halloween, with a child dressed up like a little Devil in front of a plate of cookies. Hmmm, it's my responsibility to keep things between me and my clients even. Sometimes I wish I could work for free and I do a lot of things on the side, but it can't always be that way - or I'd have no cookies left.
What will oppose me: Wheel of Fortune
Sometimes things are just luck of the draw. No matter how well prepared you are - sometimes 2 people turn up sick and your workshop consists of 1 person only. Sometimes I have a hard time dealing with unpredictability, as I tend to predict quite a lot. I guess I will have to deal with it!
What will help me: Page of Cups Rx
A lovely boy is watering Sunflowers! Although I might not always see the results of my clients spreading the word about me, I do know that they do. It might be a bit delayed, but, loving comments will help me move forward.
Hope and Fears: 8 of Wands Rx
When I saw this card I really had to laugh - this one of my old pitfalls. I always worry that things aren't going fast enough or are going too fast! Balance is important to me, but I do need to let go and move with the Flow some more!
What Course of Action to take: 4 of Cups
A woman backs away from a huge offered glass filled with some cocktail and a sword. It shows me that I have to work on accepting new things in my life and at the same time, make sure I do not overdo it. The Cup is almost as big as the woman!
Surroundings or how others see you: The Sun
Oh, such a sweet card, a man is looking pleased being served a good plate of food and a sun with two eggs for eyes is shining above him. So good to know that people around me love my energy and good nature and the nurture I bring.
What you will achieve: 8 of Swords Rx
The poor woman is strapped to a pick and used to serve up an olive. Well, I'm glad if I will achieve the fact that I won't be in there! It shows me that I have to be careful what choices and decisions I make, so I won't end up here.
Overall
The message seems to be very clear: a very balanced Spread with Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles and quite some Majors. I have to make some important decisions about the direction of the practice, workshops and classes I'm going to give (and take) and to make sure I don't overdo it!

Dear People,
I had done quite a bit of Readings for myself lately but haven't had the time to blog about it. Wednesday the 30th of May I had a lovely evening and a question popped up that I wanted to review. I often hear that it's appreciated that I also doing work during workshops. So, while everybody is spilling the beans, sharing personal stories and being vulnerable, so am I. There is an enormous strength in just being yourself!
Last week's workshop was about strength in women and I admitted that I often have difficulty seeing myself as wise. Even though it's one of the compliments I receive the most in my practice (wise, understanding, old soul), I find it hard to accept.
There are many teachings that say that a wise person knows that we know nothing or almost nothing. Compared to all the knowledge that is in the world, we are small. While this is of course true, the Archetype of the Crone, the wise woman, wise through experience, is a different wisdom altogether.
I did learn a lot from my life - difficult as it has been - so we all decreed it was time for me to own that Archetype. Especially since they informed me that I do own the knowledge - by sharing it through workshops, blog posts and sessions - and I do acknowledge that. So, this strange split has to be solved.
Since it's Archetype Work I chose the Archetype Cards from Carolyn Myss that I used before to do my Reading.
What Archetype is blocking me from owning the Crone: Bully
The Card reads: Light Attributes: Highlights your tendency to intimidate others. Helps you confront the inner fears that bully you. Shadow Attribute: Conceals deep fears behind verbal or physical abuse.
Quite an interesting card and I can see how this fits. At first I was quite surprised to learn that some people find me intimidating or scary. Mostly this is due to my talents - but since I was born with them and they grow as I do - I find them normal. I had to learn how to deal with owning my power and putting people more at ease.
Crone Archetypes can be intimidating too. Having that kind of knowledge brings with it a certain type of power - will and strength. A large part of me doesn't like to be intimidating. I don't like the thought of me as a bully or as a know-it-all. I don't like being intimidated myself either! However, all power will be intimidating.
What Archetype will help me to own the Crone: Seeker
The Card reads: Light Attribute: Thirst for wisdom and truth wherever they are. Shadow Attribute: Inability to commit to a path once found.
Well, that's easy and true! I will always be a Seeker - someone who wants to continue to learn - to discover - to find. It's not hard to see how Crone and Seeker complement each other. Both have a thirst for wisdom. The Seeker by going out to seek it in places without themselves - the Crone by going in to seek it in places within themselves.
Now that I can see them both together - I'm sure I have an easier time seeing them both within me!

Dear People,
Doing Monthly Readings means I get to choose a new Deck every month! This way you will see a lot of different decks that I own. This month I chose the "The Original Angel Cards". The box alas is quite a bit bigger then the cards, but these are so funky that I love them. They often offer a wonderful boost and a smile.
Three Angels that are with me: Humour, Transformation & Respect
No surprise there! Like I said, these cards always bring me a smile. That is, what I as a Healer also try to do. I often have to bring messages that people don't like to hear. We all want good news and sometimes that is not yet what is happening, a lesson must first be learnt.
Transformation is something that always happens when we meet one another. We touch, connect and transform based on what we have heard, felt and experienced. Sometimes those transformations are very vivid and I can see the change in energy, the change in body stance and the change in a person. Sometimes it takes a while to take hold.
Respect is also something that is very important to me. I respect each and every client that comes through the door. I respect myself, by doing my best and trusting that I do what is right.
Three Angels that I should call upon more: Purification, Harmony & Sisterhood/Brotherhood
I used to have a random alarm in my phone to remind me to purify. Now that I went back to the University, I can't have my phone ringing at awkward moments so I put it off. Sadly, I often forget to purify even though I know it's better to do so more often. I guess it is back on my todo-list.
Harmony is something that I always strive for, but sometimes it's hard to see how to create a harmonious situation. I guess I have to call upon this Angel more often to help me out!
Sisterhood/Brotherhood is also an Angel job that I adore. I love finding like minded people and enjoying myself in their company. I'm really looking forward to having the Woman's Cycle start in April and meet more women who are interested in the same issues as I am!
An Angel to pat me on the back (what is going right) and one to warn me (what is not going right): Expectancy & Faith
Expectancy... hmm, that sounds good. I am expecting quite a lot of good things to happen this year as a lot of wheels are in motion. Top of my lists are a few wishes for people close to me, more health for myself and finishing up my studies fast and some partnerships that I am really hoping for.
Well, sometimes it's hard to keep Faith. When you do not see the promised fruits in somebodies life blossom. When you do not know at all if you are doing the right work. Even so, I will work on creating and holding on to more Faith.

Dear People,
I was planning on doing this Reading a little sooner, it's now already mid March instead of mid February. Sadly, life threw a bit of a spanner in the works, so it had to be postponed. While I am sad that means I didn't completely hold to my pledge of a Reading a Month, I do believe that with promises, taking care of ourselves first and the promise later, is the way to go. I hope to do an extra Reading this Month.
I had the idea to focus on Archetypes this time, so I worked with Caroline Myss's Archetype Cards. She has done very interesting work on the archetypes that we all have in us and in working with them to better ourselves.
What Archetype do I have to embody more to be a better Psychic Healer? Midas/Miser
The Card reads: Light Attribute: Entrepreneurial or creative ability to turn anything to gold. Delight in sharing life's riches. Shadow Attribute: Hoarding money and emotions. Obsessive fear of losing your wealth.
It was very interesting to me to see this Archetype pop up. I had of course expected one of the many archetypes that focus on healing (Shapeshifter, Guide, Mystic) to pop up and to work with that. Instead the archetype focusing on money and creative ability, the Midas/Miser card showed it's face.
Not surprisingly (coincidence does not truly exist), today I talked with a client about money issues that she was facing. We talked about asking a fair price for your services, even when this can be scary. Will clients show up or turn away? However, a good Psychic Healer (and a good professional!) takes good care of him/herself as it's otherwise not sustainable to keep doing the work. And ending a practice is a loss for the world.
For me personally, I know that money is not and will never be, my first concern. My first concern is to deliver excellent service and excellent results. However, if I want to sustain my work, I need to treat it with the respect it deserves. So I do need to see that the work I do gives me enough money. This has lead to some problems in the past when I have to choose between what is profitable and what I would love to do. Currently, I'm seeing that a lot of things I love to do become more and more profitable. So, I do feel a bit like Midas, seeing everything I touch turn into gold. This card is therefore also a thankful reminder that I'm on the right path.
I'm being asked to trust myself and to delight myself and others, while at the same time making sure I do what's right by myself. So my personal resolution is to look closely at the monetary flows for a bit, to make sure that my time and energy does pay off!
What Archetype do I have to let go off to be a better Psychic Healer? Detective
The Card reads: Light Attribute: Great powers of observation and intuition. Desire to seek out the Truth. Shadow Attribute: voyeurism. Falsifying information.
No surprises here. I often tell people have strict boundaries so I do not turn to voyeurism in their lives. That I do not look at things consciously unless I'm asked to look for them. It's so easy to sneak into somebodies life and see what they are going through or will be going through. You tell yourself that you are just worried... that you care... and down the rabbit hole you go.
While I don't really experience this that much with clients, with people I deeply love and who are very close to me it's another matter. I like to bring my troubled mind at ease! I'm definitely going to do some healing work to bring this archetype back into balance.
Another part of this dark side of this Archetype is Falsifying Information. I don't really approve of falsifying information, but sometimes, it's hard to see what is the better option: the truth of the lie. Suppose that you have got an intuitive vibe that somebody is going to miscarry. They ask you directly if you have had such a vibe. How do you answer? If you say yes, you give a huge amount of stress and your vibe might be wrong! If you say no, you lie. These are the kind of situations in which people tell me: "I'm so glad I'm not Psychic!".
I will definitely meditate on this some more, although I think the best option is to ask your Guides, Heaven or your Higher Self what is the best thing to do and to just trust that. I'm human however, so sometimes the urge to say you "didn't sense a thing", is very strong.
From experience, I also know that a lot of people are tempted to give better news than what they are sensing. That is one of the pitfalls of Psychics that I never fell into. I guess this is because I do not think that giving bad news is the problem. Giving bad news without options on how to solve a situation is a problem. So if a clients hearts wish is not going to happen, I search for ways to make it happen, but will never tell them that it 'just will as long as they are open to it'.
On a personal level, I also think that giving this archetype a bit of a rest now and again is good! Once you sense so much, it's easy to keep on searching for the truth and dissect the lives of your friends and family. It will be my resolution this month to balance this Archetype in all it's aspects.
What Archetype do I need? Don Juan
The Card reads: Light Attribute: Spotlights your positive seductive qualities Shadow Attribute: Using the power of romantic attraction for private agendas.
I always love to ask an open ended question in my own Readings, sometimes I call it extra insight or special wisdom, sometimes it's an open invitation to show me what I need.
Personally, I love the Don Juan Archetype in it's light state. It's that special feeling that sweeps you off your feet, that someone who can make you swoon or that special feeling you get when you are all ready to go out and conquer the world.
Time to entice people to see the worth in what I do!

Time to entice people to see the worth in what I do!
Dear People,
Personally, I always give my all to every client that comes into my practice. My all however, has changed during the years. Some of my techniques have evolved, while others have become more accurate. I also found out that some things aren't for me and they naturally disappeared.
This year I made the pledge to have a monthly evaluation on where I am going with my practice. What Workshops I will host, whom I will work with and what is working for me and what is not.
I know many people are curious sometimes about why I take certain decisions and what I might still have in store. This is a little glimpse into the future.
I did my Reading on the 23th of January, which is a significant date for me. I am half-Chinese although many people who see me would never guess that.
Most often heard guesses include: Indonesian, Portuguese or 'something Asian'.
I choose a new deck that I haven't worked with but found on Saturday for the incredible price of €1,50. It drew me due to it's colorful cards and beautiful names.
It's called the Comic Deck of Initiation and features circular Mandala Cards. The deck has 52 cards and a short instruction booklet.
For my evaluation Reading I chose the "Rapid Fire Reading" that was described in the booklet and modified it a bit. I drew a pyramid of cards (4/3/2/1) and 4 cards separately. I asked what I could do better and where I could heal and grow.
The bottom row or foundation of my practice featured the following 4 Cards: Universal Harmony, Universal Love, Inner Vision and Universal Freedom. Quite a lovely handful, telling me that I do use Harmony and Love, combined with my inner vision, to create freedom.
Looking at the cards, I noted that I often overlook "Inner Vision". It's so normal for me to be Psychic, I often forget what kind of reaction other people have towards it. I need to acknowledge that more in my practice and take some time to put people at ease.
The second row or second stage featured the following 3 Cards: Crown, Law of Life and Universal Balance. It urges me to find more higher wisdom, as the law of life is one that says we all grow and explore. Every lesson is one that is valuable, when we take the time to find the balance between reflection and action. I often am moved towards action, as our lives are very high paced. I plan to do some more reflection, which is why I am taking more time to do Readings for myself.
The third row or third stage featured the following 2 Cards: Law of Limitation and Evolution. How funny to see those two cards together. We all know that for evolution we need to transcend limitations or find our niche. This stage asks me to work with some loose ends and to focus on what I really want to evolve.
The last row or pinnacle featured the following Card: Saggitarius. I am not a Saggitarius and don't often work with astrology. However, the symbol of the Saggitarius is one that is quite nice for a pinnacle. It's a form of freedom, expression and new sights and wonders.
Overall, my pyramid shows me what I build my practice on, what I need to do more as a person, what actions I should take and what will be my rewards. This month I am going to be busy with ending some cycles and starting new ones.
Also, I drew 4 cards for extra Guidance, which were: Aries, Guardian Angel, Unity and Universal Wisdom. They show to me that a lot of help is available to me and that I should work towards a focus of who I am and what I want to do.
All in all it's quite a lovely Reading,
So to work it is!
